Our Founder

Ashpreet Foundation was not started from luxury, comfort, or big dreams of success.

It was born from struggle, pain, sacrifice, and the desire to make sure no child suffers the way we once did.

I am Ashutosh Kumar, founder of Ashpreet Foundation. I belong to a small village in Gopalganj, Bihar, near Gorakhpur. I come from a farmer family where life was full of hardships. My grandfather used to run a small tea stall, but the income was not enough even to feed our large joint family properly.

In those difficult days, my father, Dr. Umesh Kumar Sah, decided to change the future of the family through education. Even after getting married at the young age of 16, he never gave up on his studies. Life became even harder when my grandfather suffered a paralysis attack. My father and uncle spent years serving and caring for him while struggling to survive financially.

There were times when our family did not even have enough money for school fees, proper food, or basic necessities. I still remember my childhood days when getting milk and bread even once a day felt like a blessing. At the age of 5, I used to take cows for grazing and help in household work. During winters, many children in our village did not even have slippers, sweaters, or warm clothes. In rainy seasons, water leaked through the roofs of our homes. There was no electricity in the village — only lamps burning with kerosene fuel.

Despite all these struggles, my father continued studying with determination and finally completed BAMS, becoming an Ayurvedic and Allopathy doctor. His success did not change his humanity. Even after becoming a doctor, he served poor patients almost free of cost and often charged only ₹10 for treatment. He believed that helping people was more important than earning money.

My father not only educated our family but also supported many children from our village and relatives with free education, medicines, clothes, food, and guidance. He taught us that true success is not measured by wealth, but by the number of lives we improve.

As life slowly became stable, we moved from government schools to private schools, and for the first time, we experienced the happiness of having proper food, clothes, and education. But the memories of poverty, hunger, and helplessness never left my heart.

In 2023, my father passed away. His loss was heartbreaking, but his values and sacrifices became my greatest inspiration. After his death, I made a promise to myself:

> “No child should suffer because of lack of education, food, clothes, or shelter if we can help them.”

That promise became the foundation of Ashpreet Foundation.

Today, Ashpreet Foundation works with the mission of supporting underprivileged and talented children by providing education, food, clothes, healthcare, mentorship, and hope. We believe that every child deserves a chance to dream and build a better future, no matter where they come from.

Ashpreet Foundation is not just an organization.

It is a journey from darkness to hope.

It is a tribute to my father’s struggles, sacrifices, and kindness.

And it is a mission to turn pain into purpose by bringing smiles to thousands of children in need.

We began our journey with a small vision — to help children struggling for basic education, food, clothes, shelter, and support. What started as a small effort to guide and uplift needy children gradually became a mission to create hope, opportunities, and a brighter future for underprivileged families. Despite limited resources and many challenges, the support of kind-hearted people and communities helped us continue moving forward.

Today, Ashpreet Foundation works towards empowering children and families through education, mentorship, food drives, clothing support, healthcare awareness, and skill development programs. We also provide IIT, NEET, and CA classes support to talented poor students who dream of achieving success but lack financial resources. Our mission is not only to provide help for today but also to build confidence, knowledge, and opportunities that can transform lives forever.

Though the journey has been full of struggles, it has also been deeply meaningful and inspiring. Seeing children smile with confidence after receiving education, guidance, food, clothes, and support gives us the strength to continue our mission every day. Ashpreet Foundation was built on the belief that no child should suffer because of poverty or lack of opportunities. Our goal is to keep expanding our efforts and create a future where every child can live with dignity, hope, and the chance to achieve their dreams.
